For coeliacs, it’s not just about what we take out, it’s about what put in!
Being coeliac can be an inconvenience at best and at worst it can seriously affect your quality of life. Coeliac disease is a serious condition through which the body’s immune system attacks its own tissues when gluten is eaten.
This can lead to damage to the lining of the stomach and problems with absorbing nutrients. While symptoms can range from mild to severe and include bloating, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, tiredness, anaemia, headaches, mouth ulcers, recurrent miscarriages, weight loss, skin problems, depression, joint or bone pain and nerve problems.
And of course our Too Good To Be pies, quiches and tarts are completely gluten free. But, as a coeliac, you’ll be glad to hear that Too Good To Be is not just about taking things out. It’s about putting some very delicious things in too!
