Too Good to be Gluten Free will be appearing at The Allergy & Free From Show in Olympia, London, from July 4-6 (Stand A149).

Riverside Bakery in Nottingham launched Too Good to be Gluten Free in all nine Whole Foods Market stores last week. Further listings are being discussed with supermarkets, farm shops and delis.

Coeliac UK has certified the No.G brand gluten free.

The Allergy & Free From Show is Europe’s largest allergy living and free from food show. Attracting 25,000 visitors, the show is three days of free from heaven, packed full of prestigious exhibitors, features and expert speakers.

No.G brand manager Sam Benjamin said “The show is a great opportunity to meet customers face-to-face and give them a chance to sample No.G as well as meeting senior trade buyers.

Gluten free is a rapidly growing sector and we spotted the gap in the market for high quality and great tasting products.

An increasing number of people can’t eat gluten and some of the things they really miss are pastry and pizza dough. The secret is all in the pastry. We’ve spent over a year developing a special unique gluten free pastry that tastes wonderful.”

The No.G range has been developed by the company’s chef Phil Bohemia, who trained with celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Brian Turner.

One in 100 people in the UK have coeliac disease; however only 10-15% of those individuals have been diagnosed and many more people follow a gluten free diet for other health / diet reasons. More than £16.4 million is the collective annual spend on free from products in the UK.
